I think this was my first attempt at an English voicebank, or at least the first evidence I have of one. Honestly I can’t remember if this was lite English or not, and there’s no way to check since it’s been lost to the void. Is it weird that I find the way it sounds so robotic kind of charming?

Alright, now we are entering the realm of perfectly listenable. This bank has a few extra sounds recorded, some hard “R”s and “L”s since it was evidently a feature I found endearing about his previous bank, but they are not set to be used as default.

Model V1
Kei’s first model was one put together from various parts, like a lot of people would do to cobble together a model for a character that didn’t exist. Edited some textures, and bam. There aren’t any surviving videos with the model and I now longer have it. This is one of the few pictures showing proof of its existence ooooooooooo

My memory’s a little fuzzy but I think this one came next. It was the first one I tried to model entirely myself, and it turned out awful. This picture is the only remaining evidence of it. Spooky.

“Realistic” Model
I swear I also attempted to model a realistic-looking version of Kei but that too was hideous. You know it was bad when any hint of the model existing was wiped from the face of the earth, not even any pictures remain. And that’s probably a good thing, to save us from the nightmares.

Oh hey, there’s actual video evidence of this one! This one I also modeled almost entirely and it turned out marginally better. I actually saw my ancient Blogspot site is still up (last updated in 2014 wow) so there are downloads of some old stuff still up there… but I’m not gonna link that hot garbage here.

Model V4
This is Kei’s most current model and another that’s been put together with various parts made by others and clothes made by me. It has a weird issue in MMD that makes his head like pop off between frames but in motion it’s fine?? IDK, man. At some point I’m going to commission a new model for him, too, but this is all he’s got for now.
